Operation BBQ Relief and Fired Up to Help were both started as a result of the tornado that devastated Joplin, MO in 2011. In founding Fired Up to Help, Sean reached out to OBR co-founder Stan Hayes to discuss a supportive partnership. In the years that have followed, Fired Up to Help has held numerous local events to raise money for OBR deployments after tornadoes, hurricanes, and other disasters

We have prepared over 1200 meals over the past 4 years for facets to deliver to the unhoused population and those in need.

Team Z works with us to cater meals for their athletes at large events, which in turn fills our coffers to support our other charitable partners.

Sean served 21 years as a Special Agent with the US Secret Service. As a result, supporting the USSS is near and dear to Fired Up to Help. We have provided meals for the hundreds working 4th of July weekend for many years, in addition to those working during times of civil unrest, to celbrate those that support every day operations, and to acknolwedge and support the sacrifices that all those in l

Bobby Merritt Foundation hosts an annual Turkey Bowl event to raise awareness for substance abuse, and raise money  to provide sporting equipment and funds to the local community. Fired Up to Help now provides the food for this wonderful cause.
